SERVE IN THE CHURCH
At Renew, we believe that what the Bible says is true. And the Bible says that each follower of Jesus is given spiritual gifts to be used to glorify God and serve others. It also says that one of the roles of the church is to help equip people for that service. As a result, we’re not excited about just getting people to volunteer, we are passionate about helping people discover how God has uniquely created them to be a part of something bigger than themselves.
Here are some tools to help you discover and use your gifts.
LOCAL OUTREACH
Our church has a passion to make a positive impact in our community. We have been a part of many things, from feeding the hungry to helping refugees learn English to caring for our environment.
We also encourage members to be engaged in community service with some of the reputable organizations nearby. We have served with the following organizations and would be happy to help you get connected in serving at these local ministries:
GLOBAL OUTREACH
SHORT TERM TRIPS
Going on a short-term trip is a great way to participate in what God is doing around the world. Lasting one to two weeks, these trips are a way for you to use your gifts and skills, experience a new culture and develop strong bonds with team members.
